Solidarity Stitches
Solidarity Stitches is a collaboration between The Tatreez Collective and Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP), bringing together Palestinian embroidery, cultural heritage and solidarity.
Through this project, we've created two products that invite people to engage with Palestinian craftsmanship while supporting MAP's work.
From learning to embroider your own leather keychain to wearing hand-embroidered Palestinian stamps, each product offers a way to connect with Palestinian heritage.
All proceeds from the Solidarity Stitches collection go to MAP.

The Meaning Behind the Designs
-

The Olive Tree
The olive tree holds deep significance in Palestinian life. Connected to the land, livelihoods and traditions passed down through generations, it is a powerful symbol of Palestinian heritage.
The olive tree motif on our leather keychain invites you to learn Palestinian embroidery through a design with cultural meaning.

Palestinian Stamps
Our three embroidered patches draw inspiration from historic Palestinian postage stamps, featuring Gaza, Hebron and Jericho.
Through these small, hand-embroidered pieces, we celebrate Palestinian cities, cultural identity and craftsmanship.
The People Behind the Stitches
The Tatreez Collective is a Palestinian-led fashion brand based in London, working with skilled artisans in Palestine.
Our cooperative in Beit Liqya, near Ramallah, has grown to 15 artisans, creating hand-embroidered pieces while developing skills and paid opportunities in Palestine.
The embroidered patches in this collaboration are made by our artisans, bringing traditional Palestinian craftsmanship into contemporary everyday pieces.
Through our work, we aim to preserve Palestinian embroidery traditions and support the growth of a thriving Palestinian fashion and craft industry.
