Creating Together: A Collaboration with Casa Árabe for a Collective Piece

We recently had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with Casa Árabe in Madrid on a special project that brought people together through art. Our goal was to create a stunning collective piece in the shape of a Bethlehem star, crafted from small embroidered pieces of Tatreez contributed by participants.

The workshop was a vibrant gathering where individuals of all backgrounds came together to learn about the significance of Tatreez and its connection to Palestinian heritage. Each participant added their unique touch, stitching their piece into the larger star, symbolizing unity and solidarity.

After its debut in Madrid, the star will travel to Córdoba, where it will continue to grow with more contributions. We’re excited to announce that this beautiful piece will eventually make its way to London as well! Stay tuned for updates as we bring this meaningful project to life in our community.

This collaboration with Casa Árabe not only allowed us to celebrate Palestinian culture but also fostered connections between participants. Together, we’re creating something truly special that represents hope and togetherness across borders. We can’t wait to share more about this journey!
